Wood Machinist - Bespoke Joinery & Architectural Projects
📍 Location: Warrington
💷 £16.50 per hour paid weekly
🕒 8am-4pm Monday -Friday overtime available if required
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Wood Machinist to join a specialist joinery workshop renowned for producing bespoke architectural details and high-spec flooring. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work on unique, design-led projects in a collaborative and quality-driven environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Create bespoke architectural joinery and machine flooring to the highest specification
Set up and confidently operate saws, planers, spindle molders, and other woodworking machinery
Use both hand and power tools safely and effectively
Read and interpret CAD drawings to ensure precision and accuracy
Design and manufacture custom items to meet client specifications
Liaise with multiple departments to coordinate job requirements and resolve issues
Conduct daily checks and routine maintenance on workshop machinery
Arrange repairs and servicing of equipment when necessary
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Report any issues directly to the Workshop Manager
✅ What We're Looking For:
Excellent joinery and carpentry skills, with a strong eye for detail
Proven experience in a similar wood machining or bespoke joinery role
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong understanding of woodworking machinery and safety protocols
