Design & Technology (Woodwork) Teacher - Forward-Thinking School in the Stunning Scottish Highlands
Start Date: August 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
Are you a passionate and skilled DT Teacher with a specialism in Woodwork? Are you ready for a new adventure in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK? We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking educator to join our thriving secondary school in the Scottish Highlands.
About the Role:
Teach Design & Technology (Woodwork) to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to extend into Senior Phase (S4-S6) for the right candidate
Deliver practical, engaging, and skills-focused lessons that inspire creativity and craftsmanship
Contribute to the continued development of our well-resourced DT department
Be part of a collaborative and innovative staff team committed to high-quality teaching and learning
What We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher (GTCS registered or eligible) with a specialism in Woodwork/Practical Craft Skills
A passion for hands-on learning and fostering students' problem-solving and design abilities
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A forward-thinking attitude and a willingness to contribute to wider school life
A background or interest in other areas of DT or Art is an advantage
