This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of workforce development company-wide for an established homecare provider, shaping the way training and learning are delivered and ensuring staff are supported to provide the very best care.
What’s on offer:
Hybrid working.
£40,000-£55,000 salary package.
33 days’ annual leave (25 days + bank holidays).
40p/mile mileage allowance.
Bonus scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the organisation’s workforce development strategy across all homecare services.
Designing, implementing, and reviewing training programmes tailored specifically to the homecare sector.
Ensuring all staff remain fully compliant with sector standards and CQC requirements.
Working closely with the Head of Quality and Director of Care to embed best practice, strengthen leadership and management (LSM) capabilities, and raise service quality.
Keeping up to date with changes in homecare regulations, training frameworks, and sector strategies, and introducing these effectively across the company.
Supporting managers and care teams through structured development pathways that improve skills, knowledge, and career progression.
Overseeing training evaluation to ensure measurable improvements in care delivery.
Reporting directly to the Director of Care.
Workforce Development Manager Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Regional or Head of L&D role within homecare sector.
Proven track record of designing, implementing and leading workforce development and training initiatives.
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Eligible to work in the UK.
