Working Supervisor – High-End Staircase Installations
£50,000–£55,000 + Travel Paid + Overtime + Pension + 30 Days Holiday (Incl. BH)

Are you an experienced Working Supervisor with a track record of delivering exceptional quality on high-end building projects? Our client, a leading main contractor, is seeking a hands-on supervisor to oversee the installation of bespoke, luxury staircases across commercial, retail and high-end residential sites in Central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist subcontractor known for producing architecturally impressive, custom-built staircase structures, fabricated at their state-of-the-art facility in the Netherlands before being delivered to site for installation.

🔧 Role Responsibilities

  * 

    Supervise and work alongside a small site team to install bespoke, high-end staircases.

  * 

    Maintain exceptional standards of workmanship while ensuring site safety and productivity.

  * 

    Coordinate with main contractor teams, ensuring smooth delivery on Tier 1 contractor projects.

  * 

    Oversee the cladding of steel staircase carcasses with marble, premium metals, timber, and other luxury finishes.

  * 

    Ensure all work meets strict quality expectations—particularly important as they are replacing agency labour that hasn’t met required standards.

🛠️ Skills & Experience Required

  * 

    Black CSCS card essential.

  * 

    SSSTS or SMSTS certification required.

  * 

    Proven background on high-end commercial or residential construction sites.

  * 

    Experience working with marble, high-value metals, and other premium materials.

  * 

    Steel fitting / welding experience highly beneficial.

  * 

    Fit-out experience is an advantage.

  * 

    Prior work with Tier 1 main contractors preferred.

  * 

    Experience as a Working Foreman / Supervisor with a hands-on approach.
