We are recruiting Workshop Assistant & Delivery Driver to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work within a friendly workshop environment where no two days are the same. The role combines hands-on workshop support with regular delivery duties, including weekly trips to the West Midlands and London. The successful candidate will be physically capable, flexible in their approach to work, and eager to learn new skills across various workshop disciplines.

What You Will Be Doing
* Assisting with daily workshop operations including preparing materials, tools and equipment
* Supporting skilled workers with tasks such as assembly, fabrication, finishing and repairs
* Cleaning and maintaining workshop tools, equipment and workspace
* Monitoring and restocking materials and supplies as needed
* Receiving, unpacking and storing goods and materials
* Wrapping and loading finished products for delivery
* Driving to supplier and customer locations across the West Midlands and London
* Operating workshop machinery under supervision (e.g. drills, saws, spray guns)
* Disposing of waste and recycling according to environmental standards
* Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
What We Are Looking For
* Full UK driving licence (must be age 25+ for insurance purposes)
* Positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
* Punctual and dependable with good time management
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Physically capable of manual handling, lifting and prolonged standing
* Able to work flexibly across tasks and changing priorities
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Effective communicator with colleagues, customers and suppliers
* Basic understanding of workshop safety and safe machinery operation
* Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility
