Job Description
Workshop Controller required for a Successful Automotive independent garage in the Leamington Spa area.
Our client is seeking a Workshop Controller to join their busy service department, and it is essential that you have a previous working experience within a busy Automotive Workshop.
Benefits:
£42,000 basic salary (£45,000 OTE).
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week – overtime available.
Overtime paid at time and a half.
24 days’ holiday plus bank holidays.
Pension and sick pay scheme.

Overseeing daily workshop operations and allocating work to technicians.
Monitoring job progress and ensuring completion within set timescales.
Liaising with the service department to manage workloads and priorities.
Conducting quality checks and supporting technicians with technical issues.
Ensuring accurate job cards, estimates, and invoicing through the workshop management system.
Using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to assist where needed.
Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.Requirements:
Currently working as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within a workshop environment.
Technically qualified (e.g. Level 3 or equivalent) with hands-on workshop experience.
Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
Confident using computer systems and workshop management software – PC literacy is essential.
A team player who takes pride in delivering a high standard of customer service.Hours of work for this Workshop Controller role are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (overtime available)
The Salary being offered up to £42,000 with OTE £45,000.
