The Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on Workshop Manager to lead a close-knit team of 4–5 experienced technicians. This isn’t a clipboard-and-office role—it’s on the tools, in the workshop, leading by example. You’ll be overseeing daily operations, stepping into technical work when needed, and being the main point of contact for customers who expect the best.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Running the Workshop Day-to-Day: Assigning jobs, keeping everything moving smoothly, and making sure quality never slips.
* Working Alongside the Team: Getting involved in diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across a wide range of high-performance and specialist vehicles.
* Looking After Customers: Taking pride in clear, honest communication—explaining work, building trust, and ensuring a first-class experience.
* Upholding Standards: Making sure health & safety, tooling, and workshop cleanliness are maintained to a high standard.
* Improving Processes: Bringing fresh ideas to make things even slicker, smarter, and more efficient.
What We’re Looking For
* An experienced and qualified vehicle technician (minimum Level 3 or equivalent)
* Confident team leader who enjoys mentoring others
* Strong technical and diagnostic skills, ideally with high-performance or specialist marques
* Professional, approachable, and customer-focused
* A full, clean UK driving licence
