Your Impact as a Workshop Controller:
As a HGV Workshop Controller, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting and coaching the workshop team to achieve high standards.
Driving improvements in workshop performance and productivity.
Ensuring meticulous Quality Control across all repairs and services.
Managing all necessary Documentation accurately.
Providing excellent Customer Service, keeping clients informed.
Actively participating in meetings to contribute to strategic planning.
Efficiently allocating work to technicians, optimising workflow.
Ensuring the availability and proper functioning of workshop equipment and tools.
Monitoring and enforcing health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment in Yeovil.
Conducting performance evaluations.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as a Workshop Controller within the Automotive sector.
Strong Technical Skills, particularly with Heavy Goods Vehicles.
Adequate Equipment knowledge and Attention to Detail.
A collaborative Team Player with excellent communication abilities.
Strong Safety Awareness and understanding of compliance associated with Heavy Goods Vehicles.
Flexibility, including some weekends, to meet operational needs.
Basic computer skills as well as general business knowledge, including a grasp of Finance.
Knowledge of service-relevant applications.
