Workshop Controller – Exeter | Monday–Friday | Up to £35,000
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join a growing service department in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role within a well-established business that has built a strong reputation in the material handling industry.
The Role:
As a Workshop Controller, you’ll coordinate a team of field and workshop engineers, ensuring an efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Logging and managing customer breakdown calls
Prioritising and scheduling engineers
Liaising with customers, engineers, and the parts team
Organising diaries and monitoring outstanding work
Managing job sheets, parts requisitions, and service administrationAbout You:
Experience managing a team of engineers in a service/workshop environment
Strong organisational and communication skills
Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of material handling equipment is desirable but not essentialPackage & Benefits:
