Workshop Controller (Refuse Vehicles)
£50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus (OTE 58k) + 10% Pension + 34 Days Holiday + Benefits

Are you a Workshop Controller or similar from a hands-on HGV background looking to join a long-standing and reputable company, in a static role where you will have plenty of autonomy to make your mark in a busy workshop?

In this static role you will be working on the tools whilst managing close-knit workshop and 2 staff within a municipal vehicle environment. This will include handling workload, scheduling, quality checking, and overseeing all documentation for legal compliance.
Founded in the early 90's, this contract hire and fleet management company work closely with local authorities across the country and pride themselves on their extremely stable growth and commitment to sustainability.
This role would suit a Workshop Controller, Supervisor, Manager or similar from an HGV background looking for a long-term career.
The Role:
Working on the tools performing servicing and maintenance of waste collection vehicles
Overseeing Technicians, in charge of maintaining stock levels
Managing workload, scheduling, quality and compliance documentation
Monday - Friday, days-based, 45 hours a week between 6am - 6pmThe Person:
Workshop Controller/Chargehand/Supervisor/Manager or similar
HGV or Refuse Vehicle background
