Role outline:

The Workshop Coordinator will work closely with the team coordinating jobs and administrative tasks for the GEL Workshop business.

Responsibilities:

- Preparing and organising information, creating, and updating documents and spreadsheets and filing them in digital and paper form according to company procedures.

- Coordination of incoming and outgoing jobs.

- Managing timelines on jobs and works.

- Data entry and database maintenance.

- Assisting preparation and processing quotations and purchase orders.

- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company and industry policies, procedures, and legislation.

- Ensuring all goods in and goods out are booked in, identified, and marked for each job/stored accordingly.

- Manage items for quarantine, liaising with asset department to organise repair / collection.

- Manage phone calls and correspondents (email, letters, packages etc.), and material/parts deliveries

- Communicating (phone, text, and email) with GEL sites and customers about delivery status.

- General office administration – copying, filing etc.

Requirements:

- Proven experience and competency of being within an administrative function.

- Good time management.

- Good planning, organisation, and attention to detail skills.

- Good teamworking skills.

- IT literate with an excellent knowledge of MS Office.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Good customer service.
