Job Description
Workshop Engineer / Trainee Service Technician / Trainee Maintenance Engineer required to join a global, market leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Workshop Engineer / Trainee Service Technician / Trainee Maintenance Engineer will provide service, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial pump systems and associated rotating equipment at the workshop near Crewe. Full training provided.
The Workshop Engineer / Trainee Service Technician / Trainee Maintenance Engineer will ideally will ideall have good practical ability, an interest in mechanical engineering systems, and a willingness to learn. You do not need extensive experience — just the right attitude and enthusiasm to build a long-term engineering career.

Additional benefitsWorkshop Engineer / Trainee Service Technician / Trainee Maintenance Engineer role:
Provide service, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial pumps at the workshop.
Ensure all pump products are in line with specifications before leaving the workshop for delivery.
Carry out inspection and testing of equipment returned to branch, including fault finding and diagnostic work.
Complete technical documentation as work progresses.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Commutable to the workshop in Winsford.Workshop Engineer / Trainee Service Technician / Trainee Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
Experience as a Workshop Engineer, Workshop Fitter, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Service Engineer, Technician, Junior Engineer, Apprentice Engineer or similar.
Good general mechanical knowledge with the ability to learn industrial pump systems.
Good practical ability, an interest in mechanical engineering systems, and a willingness to learn. You do not need extensive experience — just the right attitude and enthusiasm to build a long-term engineering career.
Engineering qualification such as HNC, HND, or Apprenticeship is advantageous but not essential.
Strong mechanical interest or hands-on background.
Willingness to commute to the workshop daily in WinsfordBefore You Apply
