Workshop Engineer – Chemical Dosing Systems - Middlewich, Cheshire
- Up to £34,000 per annum + benefits

Are you a hands-on engineer with mechanical or electromechanical experience? Looking to join a company where you’re more than just a number?
Our client is an independent, close-knit business based in Middlewich, specialising in the design and build of chemical dosing pumps and systems for the water treatment and industrial sectors. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking for a Workshop Engineer to join their friendly and supportive team.
This role would be ideal for someone with a background in water treatment, pump systems, or maintenance engineering, looking to apply their skills in a workshop-based environment with full product training provided.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As Workshop Engineer, you will be assembling and testing chemical dosing pumps and systems
Reading and working from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
Carrying out repairs, maintenance and refurbishments of equipment
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Ensuring all work meets safety, quality and performance standards
Keeping accurate records and documentation
Working closely with engineers and project teams
What We’re Looking For:
Mechanical or electromechanical engineering experience (workshop-based or field)
Background in water treatment, pumps, or maintenance engineering is highly desirable
A Hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail
Team player with a good attitude and willingness to learn
