The Role
We are seeking a full-time Workshop Engineer to join a busy and growing workshop team. Previous experience in fabrication, machining, or sheet metal work would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing sheet metal and fabricated components to customer specifications
* Carrying out light fabrication and assembly work
* Performing quality checks on manufactured and assembled products
* Supporting general workshop operations as required
The Candidate
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong practical workshop skills
Confident with visual inspection of components to ensure accuracy and quality
Able to work to deadlines with good attention to detail
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude
Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic team player
Committed to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Package & Benefits
Salary: £27,000 – £34,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
