Job Description

Workshop engineer Mon-fri days Essex £15-£18/hour 21 days holiday + banks (rising with service) On site training Progression opportunitiesWe're looking for a static workshop engineer to join the engineering team in maintaining and repairing plant equipment. The role is Mon-fri days, with overtime paid at an enhanced rate. The right candidate will receive continued training and development, and will be considered for internal promotions as they present themselves. Roles/Responsibilities Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Work on rollers, compactors and diesel engines Work alongside a team of four engineers and report into the engineering manager Carry out pre-delivery inspections on equipment Accurately log materials and workWhat We're Looking For Engineering experience in a plant environment Familiarity with rollers, compactors and diesel engines Electro-mechanical knowledge and experience on pneumatic/hydraulic equipment Engineering qualifications are beneficial but not a requirement!If you are interested in the role or looking for something similar please contact our Managing Consultant Hazel Luna If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
