Workshop Fitter

Bristol, Avonmouth
Full-Time, Permanent
£30,000 - £40,000Join this impressive team at the Bristol Depot as a Workshop Fitter, where you will be instrumental in maintaining our fleet of Telescopic Handlers. This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on and thrives in ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and LOLER safety inspections.
Perform scheduled servicing and general repairs, along with damage assessments.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed to high standards to keep machinery safe, reliable, and ready for hire.
Work efficiently to support the depot's operational needs by turning machines around quickly and accurately.Required Skills & Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience with plant machinery and diesel engines.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills, both spoken and written English.
CSCS card is advantageous but not essential.Benefits:
