Job Title: Workshop Forklift Engineer
Location: Castleford
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Bonus Scheme
Schedule: Monday to Friday – Day Shift
Overtime: Paid at time and a half

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
Diagnose faults and perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs in a workshop setting
Conduct inspections to ensure machinery is safe and compliant
Prepare equipment for hire or dispatch
Accurately complete job cards, service records, and maintenance documentationWorkshop Forklift Engineer – Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant, Forklift or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Previous experience working on forklifts or material handling equipment
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Good knowledge of diesel, electric, and LPG systems
Ability to work independently and within a team
