Workshop Manager - Bedford | Up to £50,000 + Car Allowance
Alecto Recruitment are working for a leading plant hire company in Bedford. We're looking for a hands-on Workshop Manager / Plant Maintenance Manager / Depot Workshop Lead to run a busy workshop and lead a skilled team.
If you have experience in plant machinery maintenance, telehandlers, excavators, forklifts, materials handling machinery and heavy equipment, and enjoy managing a workshop from start to finish, this could be your next move.

Up to £50,000 basic salary + car allowance
25 days holiday + bank holidays + extra day off for your birthday
Monday-Friday hours
Career progression & full benefits packageWe're Looking For Someone Who:
Has a recognised plant maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
Broad knowledge of plant machinery, telehandler maintenance, hydraulic systems, and mechanical repair techniques
Proven experience in workshop leadership, team management, and equipment maintenance
Excellent organisational & time management skills
IT-literate & confident with workshop systems / maintenance software
Proactive, resilient, and able to coach and motivate a team
Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)Alternate Job Titles That Could Be Interested:
