Workshop Manager – Commercial Garage | Glenrothes | £50,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to join and lead our busy commercial garage based in Glenrothes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong mechanical expertise and proven leadership skills to take charge of daily workshop operations and support the continued success of our business.
Location: Glenrothes
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day running of the commercial workshop
Lead, support, and motivate a team of technicians and support staff
Allocate workloads efficiently to ensure timely completion of work
Ensure all maintenance and repair work meets safety and quality standards
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
Manage stock, workflow, and performance targets
Maintain compliance with all relevant health & safety and regulatory standardsWhat We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Workshop Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Technician
Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicles
PSV (Public Service Vehicle) experience is highly beneficial
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Solid understanding of diagnostics, compliance, and health & safety procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environmentWhat We Offer:
