Job Description
Workshop Supervisor
Our client is looking for a Steelwork Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our clients fabrication services are executed by fully-coded staff to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 3 and EN ISO 3834-2, which ensures that their fabrication services meet the highest standards of quality and safety. their lean approach to fabrication not only ensures that there clients' assets are designed to enhance their lifespan, but it also minimizes any schedule risk and allows them to deliver the products on time and within budget.
Must have knowledge in all aspects of the Steel steel industry
Rate of Pay - Upto £46,000 + Benefits
All candidates must:
* Managing, motivating and monitoring the performance of all workshop staff and supporting all staff in daily tasks and development.
* Ensuring availability of all materials required to meet production targets by forward planning and ordering.
* Ensuring production targets and deadlines are met by maximising use of available resources and scheduling working hours to achieve these targets.
* Some overtime may be required during periods of high production.
* Dealing with other TPM staff and Site Supervisors and maintaining excellent working relationships. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.
* Ensuring adherence to all workshop health and safety regulations.
* Booking and arranging dispatch of product to customer sites as required.
* Attending meetings with senior management as required.
* Ensuring the workplace is kept clean, tidy and safe.
* Accurate and timely completion of all associated paperwork and documentation.
