We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Supervisor based in Biggleswade for one of our clients on a permanent basis.

Salary: up to £52,000
Job Location: Biggleswade
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hour working week, Monday – Friday
Responsibilities of the Workshop Supervisor
Lead and support the Workshop team, providing training, guidance, and hands-on technical assistance when needed.
Manage workshop administration, including job planning, estimates, and ensuring smooth job card flow through to invoicing.
Maintain high standards of quality, health, and safety, ensuring workmanship meets the expectations of a leading manufacturer.
Collaborate with engineers and management to identify skills gaps, implement improvements, and support continuous development.
Drive customer satisfaction by fostering positive relationships, resolving issues proactively, and contributing ideas to improve processes and service delivery.
Requirements for a successful Workshop Supervisor
Relevant technical qualifications or completion of an apprenticeship, with strong skills in electrical and hydraulic systems, including the ability to read schematics.
Proven experience applying technical expertise in a similar workshop or industrial environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team and work effectively at all levels.
Flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure, using initiative to solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland, and overseas as required, and commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
