Learning Support Assistant – Year 6
Location: Dengie Peninsula, Essex
Contract: Full-time / Term time only
Start Date: 05/01/26

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly Year 6 team in a welcoming primary school in the Dengie area.
About the Role
As a Year 6 LSA, you will:

Provide targeted support to pupils in English, maths, and SATs preparation
*
Work with individuals and small groups to boost confidence and progress
*
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom organisation
*
Support pupils with additional needs, promoting inclusion and wellbeing
*
Contribute to a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you:

Have experience working with KS2 pupils (ideally Year 6)
*
Are patient, proactive, and supportive
*
Can build positive relationships with children and staff
*
Have good literacy and numeracy skills

Are committed to helping children succeed academically and emotionally
