Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced yard labourer for our client based in Sheffield S9.
This is a temporary to permanent position working 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Hourly rate £13.50 per hour – 40 hrs
The company specialise in processing scrap metal of different types and from a variety of sources.
The role will involve working outdoors in a yard environment in all weather conditions.
Experience in a similar environment would be an advantage but not essential.
Duties will include:
* Receiving scrap into the site
* Sorting by type and grade
* Manual and machine processing, some of which will be repetitive
* Always keeping the yard area safe and tidy
* Assisting other workers as required
Training will be provided to operate the machinery safely and correctly and machine processing will form a large part of the role.
