Would you be open for a discussion for a FLT Operator role in Caerphilly for Catnic?
Role: FLT Operator
Location: Pontypandy Industrial Estate, Caerphilly CF83 3GL
Rate: Grade D - £(phone number removed) - 12.21ph - OT 1.5 on Saturdays
Double time on Sundays if they want to do OT
Contract length: 3 months with the view to extend
Shift Patterns: Days: 7 - 3:30 Mon-Thur and Fri 7 - 3 (39.5 hours a week)
Opportunity for overtime is also available and successful applicants should be open to this if needed
Responsibilities:
* Using Barcode scanners to meet daily pick target
* Standard FLT and SLT loading duties
* Adhering to UK Health and Safety legislation at all times
* Contributing to improvement initiatives
* In quieter periods, conducting general housekeeping in the yard
Essential requirements:
* Previous experience within a Production or Construction envirnonment
* The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and conduct basic manual handling
* FLT counterbalance experience (current licence not necessary as training provided)
* SLT (side loader) experience
* Good verbal and written communication
* Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
