Salary: £26,880 per annum
Shifts: 6 am – 6 pm, 4 on 4 off rota
Overtime: Available
Holiday: 23 paid shifts per year
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Yard Operative to join our dynamic team at our client’s facility. As a Yard Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations while maintaining safety and compliance within the plant.
Due to location, Own transport is essential
Key Responsibilities:
* Unload and load materials from incoming and outgoing vehicles.
* Prioritize health and safety for yourself and all team members at all times.
* Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving line and warehouse operations.
* Maintain the safety and security of the building and stock.
* Perform housekeeping duties as requested by the Yard Supervisor / Manager.
* Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines, promoting a safe and orderly environment.
* Effectively communicate any issues during your shift with the Yard Supervisor / Manager.
Qualifications:
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
