Location: Bury St Edmunds
Hours: 07:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday
Rate: £13.75 per hour
Contract: 4-week initial period with temp-to-perm opportunity

Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Yard Operator, you'll be essential to our depot operations, ensuring smooth and efficient yard management. Your key duties will include:
Safety-focused operations: Loading and unloading gas cylinders following strict safety protocols
Inventory management: Organising and maintaining accurate yard stock levels
Equipment operation: Operating forklift equipment (comprehensive training provided for candidates without experience)
Compliance: Maintaining rigorous health and safety standards at all times
General support: Assisting with warehouse duties and supporting team operations as needed
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
Exceptional reliability – Outstanding timekeeping and attendance record
Positive attitude – Proactive approach with willingness to learn and adapt
Physical capability – Comfortable with manual handling and outdoor work in various weather conditions
Preferred (Not Essential):
Forklift experience – Advantageous but not required as full training will be provided
