Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Night Shift Yard Operative to join our team at our facility in ME3 9NZ. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday nights. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently unload incoming vehicles, adhering to safety protocols.
* Maintain a clean and organized yard environment, ensuring a safe working area.
* Prepare the site for the incoming day shift, ensuring all equipment and materials are readily available.
* Conduct a thorough handover of any issues or outstanding tasks to the oncoming team.
* Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and environmental protection.
Skills and Qualifications:
* No prior experience required - full training provided.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
* (Optional) Forklift license or willingness to undertake training (training can be arranged).
* Must be able to reliably commute to ME3 9NZ for the night shift hours.
