Job Description
CRS are currently assisting our Plant Hire client in Falkirk in hiring a Yard person to join the team on a full time perm basis in the workshop / yard.
* Our ideal candidates will have experience in on and off hires.
* Health and safety aware.
Duties for our Yard Person will include:
* Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage if required.
* Perform routine maintenance on yard equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition, assisting fitters when required.
* Keeping machinery in a clean and hire ready condition to go back out to clients.
* Help manage inventory by ensuring materials are stored properly and are easily accessible for use.
* Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective gear while performing tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items and working in various weather conditions.
* Good communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with other staff members.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not always required.
* Previous experience with on an off hire is highly desired.
In return we offer guaranteed 50 hours per week
Salary: £12- £14 per hour ( £29328 - £34216)
