Yard Supervisor
Salary: £41,600 annually
Hours: Monday to Friday | 50 hours per week
Benefits: Van + Fuel Card Included
Location: Portishead, BS20 7BL
We’re hiring for an experienced Yard Supervisor to join a team in Portishead. This is a hands-on role where you’ll support the engineering team, help maintain a safe and efficient yard, and take on key responsibilities as the senior person on site.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Prepare plant machinery for maintenance, repairs, and dispatch
Operate jet wash equipment to clean machines prior to service
Support engineers during day-to-day maintenance tasks
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working yard
Take ownership of paperwork and yard documentation
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety protocols
Be the go-to person in the yard – a lead role with responsibilityWhat You’ll Need:
Full UK Driving Licence – essential for this role
Previous experience working in a plant, yard, or heavy equipment environment
A proactive, reliable attitude and the ability to take initiative
Strong organisational skills and confidence handling paperworkWhat’s on Offer:
