Location: Sutton, South LondonA well-regarded Infants school in Sutton is looking to appoint a full-time Year 1 Class Teacher. This is a classroom teaching role, with flexibility regarding the year group within KS1, and a competitive salary offered in line with experience via PAYE.
This Infants School is based in a leafy, sub-urban area in the borough of Sutton. The latest Ofsted report in 2023 rated them as a Good School, and they are growing their staff cohort with a Year 1 Teacher to join their team.
They are proud to deliver learning via a non-traditional provision based on the Early Years Model - with an open plan environment with inside and outside learning daily, including teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full teaching responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class (year 1)
Maintain a positive learning environment and ensure pupils' health, safety and well-being
Experience teaching to the EY Model or open to delivering their teaching method through this route
Assess, record and report on pupils' progress, development, attainment, and personal and social needs

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
