Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum, helping students develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and beyond.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued, confident, and excited to learn.
* Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their best.
* Use innovative and creative teaching strategies to make learning fun and accessible for all students.
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery and share best practices.
* Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them updated on student progress and address any concerns.
* Participate in professional development opportunities, school activities, and staff meetings to enhance your teaching practice.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a focus on Year 1 or similar primary experience.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* A passion for working with young children and a commitment to creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Ability to differentiate teaching and adapt to the individual needs of students.
