Year 1 Teacher Folkestone
Academics are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join one of our supportive partner primary schools in Folkestone, East Kent. This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early learning and helping children make a confident start to their KS1 journey.

What you'll do as a Year 1 Teacher:
Plan, deliver, and assess creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 learners
Build a nurturing, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, valued, and inspired
Support early reading, writing, phonics, and numeracy development
Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to enhance learning
Encourage curiosity, early independence, and positive learning habits
Communicate clearly and warmly with parents, carers, and colleaguesWhat we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / Early Careers Teachers (ECT) welcome
Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1
Strong classroom management and excellent communication
A patient, caring, and proactive teaching style
