Year 1 Teacher - Waltham Forest - MPS/UPS - Permanent - September Start - Primary School

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest. This permanent position is available for a September start and offers a competitive salary in line with MPS/UPS, depending on experience.

 Are you passionate about supporting pupils as they transition from EYFS into Year 1?

The Role - Year 1 Teacher
 As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

You will work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and parents to ensure all pupils make strong progress. The role will involve planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing pupil attainment, and supporting children as they build upon the foundations established in EYFS.

Strong classroom management, excellent communication skills, and a nurturing approach are essential for this role. A secure understanding of phonics and early learning strategies would be highly beneficial.
