Academics is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Hertfordshire that is seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team.

Year 1 Teacher, September Start

Location: Hemel Hempstead
 Start Date: September 2026
 Salary: MPS1 - MPS6 (dependent on experience)
 Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

Full-time Year 1 Teacher
September 2026 start
Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons that inspire young learners
Create a positive classroom environment where every child can thrive

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (including placements for ECTs)
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
