Job Description
An inspiring and vibrant primary school in Camden is looking for a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their enthusiastic and supportive team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher passionate about laying strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social development for young learners transitioning from EYFS to Key Stage 1.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading a bright and inquisitive Year 1 class through an engaging and balanced curriculum
*
Encouraging curiosity and a love of learning while establishing strong early foundations in literacy and numeracy
*
Developing and applying creative teaching strategies to foster independent thinking and problem-solving skills
*
Creating a warm, inclusive, and well-managed classroom where children thrive and feel supported
*
Working closely with teaching assistants to ensure all students receive the individual support they need
