Prospero Teaching is working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Greenwich that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

Theyre looking for a teacher who can bring energy, consistency, and calm behaviour management to the classroom while working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an engaging and nurturing learning experience.

The Role:
· Teaching a lovely Year 1 class with the support of an experienced TA
· Planning in partnership with a parallel class teacher
· Contributing to a creative and engaging KS1 curriculum
· Using strong behaviour strategies to maintain a calm and productive classroom
· Playing an active role in staff collaboration and continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
· Hold QTS and have relevant UK classroom experience
· Be confident teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
· Demonstrate strong behaviour management techniques
· Be a positive and proactive team player
· Be passionate about early learning, phonics, and pupil progress
· Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment
