We are looking for a passionate and skilled Year 1 Teacher to join our team from September 2025.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and committed teacher to join our Key Stage 1 team, taking responsibility for a Year 1 class. You will plan and deliver inspiring, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners, laying strong foundations for continued progress throughout their school journey.

Key Responsibilities

Teach a Year 1 class with a focus on creativity, structure, and early skill development

Support pupils in making a successful transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage
*
Foster a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
*
Use formative and summative assessments effectively to monitor progress and inform planning
*
Work collaboratively with the KS1 team to share best practice and maintain consistency
*
Build meaningful relationships with pupils, families, and staff
*
Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and school events

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
A sound understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and Year 1 expectations
*
A nurturing approach with high aspirations for all pupils
*
Strong classroom management and excellent organisational skills
*
Effective communication and the ability to work well in a team
*
A growth mindset and commitment to professional development
*
