Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a part-time opportunity in a supportive and welcoming primary school?
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a fantastic primary school in the Morecambe area to recruit a Year 1 class teacher for a job-share role starting in September 2025.
This is a three-day-per-week position, likely covering Monday to Wednesday, and will continue for at least the Autumn term, with potential to extend.
Key Responsibilities
Co-plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Year 1 lessons tailored to the National Curriculum.
Work collaboratively with your job-share partner to ensure seamless classroom continuity.
Monitor, assess, and support pupil progress-contributing to reports and parent communications.
Maintain classroom routines and positive learning environments.
Participate in staff collaboration, CPD sessions, and school-based events.Candidate Profile
Qualified teacher with valid QTS, ideally with KS1 experience (ECTs welcome).
Demonstrates strong classroom management, organization, and adaptability.
Passionate about early years education and committed to nurturing each child's development.
Flexible team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Salary & Contract
Paid pro-rata on the LCC main/upper pay scale (~£31,650-£43,607 for full-time; job-share equates to approx. £15,825-£21,803 for 0.5 FTE).
