Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
Assess, track and report on pupil progress, using this data to inform future planning and interventions
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe and excited to learn
Establish high expectations for behaviour, learning and personal development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child
Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips and enrichment activities
Be committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
We are looking for someone who:
Is a qualified teacher (QTS required)
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (ideally Year 2, but not essential)
Demonstrates strong classroom management and an inclusive approach to learning
Is a confident communicator and team player
Has a thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective assessment practices
Is passionate about education and committed to every child's progress and well being
