Job Description

Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform teaching Support early literacy and numeracy development through differentiated instruction Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and families to support pupil outcomes Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement The successful candidate will: Hold QTS and have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2 Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics (preferably systematic synthetic phonics) Be committed to inclusive practice, with experience supporting SEND and EAL pupils Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills Be reflective and proactive in their approach to professional development
