Year 2 Teacher - Supportive KS1 Team - North Manchester
Aspire People are recruiting on behalf of a friendly, well-organised primary school with a strong KS1 team and a positive, inclusive ethos. The Year 2 class is settled, enthusiastic, and benefits from clear routines and high expectations.
This role would suit a teacher who enjoys helping pupils grow in confidence while preparing them for the end of KS1 in a calm, supportive way.
The Role
You will take responsibility for a Year 2 class with the support of experienced colleagues and leadership that values staff wellbeing.
Key elements of the role:
* Delivering engaging Year 2 lessons across the curriculum
* Preparing pupils for KS1 SATs without unnecessary pressure
* Using assessment to support progress
* Building strong relationships with pupils and parents
The School Is Looking For
* QTS and KS1 experience (Year 2 ideal)
* A structured but nurturing teaching approach
* Confidence with KS1 assessment
