The Role:
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners across the Year 2 curriculum

Support pupils to consolidate their foundational skills in reading, writing, and maths, preparing them for the transition to Key Stage 2
*
Use assessment data effectively to monitor progress and tailor teaching
*
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that motivates and supports all pupils
*
Collaborate closely with your year group partner and wider staff team to ensure consistency and share best practice
*
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to foster strong home-school partnerships
What We’re Looking For:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2
*
A strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and progression within Key Stage 1
*
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
*
Enthusiasm, creativity, and a reflective approach to teaching
*
Commitment to inclusive education and supporting every child’s development
