The Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a central role in delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils through a key phase in their primary education.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative, purposeful lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Foster a safe and inclusive classroom where every child is supported and challenged
*
Use effective assessment strategies to inform your teaching and monitor pupil progress

Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the school’s educational offer

Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support children’s learning and development
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a committed professional who is:

Qualified – Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Experienced – Has a strong understanding of Key Stage 1, ideally with Year 2 experience
*
Creative – Brings energy and innovation to the classroom
*
Collaborative – A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
*
Child-Centred – Committed to the wellbeing, growth, and success of every pupil
