We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our team from September 2025.
The Role
This is a wonderful opportunity for a creative and motivated teacher to lead a Year 2 class. You will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils and help them reach their full potential during this important stage of their education.

Key Responsibilities

Teach a Year 2 class, delivering stimulating and inclusive lessons

Create a safe, positive, and productive classroom environment

Use assessment to track progress and adapt teaching strategies

Work collaboratively with the Key Stage 1 team and wider school staff
*
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
*
Engage actively in school life, including events and enrichment activities

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and Year 2 expectations
*
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
*
A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children
*
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach
*
Commitment to professional development and inclusive practice
*
