About the Role:
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a key role in helping pupils succeed at a critical stage in their learning journey. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the diverse needs of your class

Teaching the full Year 2 curriculum and supporting pupils in preparing for end-of-KS1 assessments
*
Creating a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and challenged

Monitoring and assessing progress to inform effective next steps in learning
*
Collaborating with colleagues and support staff to raise attainment across the year group
*
Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support home learning
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
*
Strong knowledge of the Year 2 national curriculum and assessment expectations
*
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
*
A creative and reflective approach to teaching and learning
*
Commitment to inclusion, high standards, and continuous professional growth
