The Role:
The school is seeking a committed and inspiring Year 2 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team from September 2025. As a Year 2 teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing pupils for the transition to Key Stage 2 while supporting their academic and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the Year 2 curriculum

Support pupils in preparing for end-of-Key Stage 1 assessments in a calm and encouraging environment
*
Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom where all pupils feel safe, valued, and confident
*
Use ongoing assessment effectively to monitor progress and plan next steps
*
Work closely with your year group partner to share planning, ideas, and best practices
*
Engage regularly with parents and carers to build strong home-school partnerships
