Year 2 Class Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent Location: Guildford, Surrey Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) A well-established and inclusive primary school in Guildford is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for experienced teachers or motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their skills in a supportive and high-achieving environment. Candidate Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential. * Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and effective teaching practices. * Experience or understanding of phonics teaching programmes (e.g., Read Write Inc., Little Wandle). * Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. * Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all pupils. * A reflective practitioner with a commitment to ongoing professional development. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
