Job Description

We are looking for a part time Year 2 Teacher to work 16.25hrs per week - over 2.5 days at a school in King's Lynn. The role is starting in January 2026 and runs until the end of the academic year, there is a possibility that this role will continue on beyond this point.

Qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role. We welcome applications from both experienced and early career teachers (ECTs). If you are a passionate and enthusiastic teacher looking for a supportive and high achieving school, this role could be for you!

The role is based at an Infant School with proactive staff that are committed to the education of the whole child. Requirements

To be considered for the role of Year 2 Teacher you will:

have solid knowledge and understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
have the ability to deliver inspiring and engaging lessons.
have a passion for providing quality education.
have enthusiasm, dedication and resilience to demonstrate excellent classroom practice.
have he ability to provide a positive learning environment and effectively manage a classroom.

Hold QTS in the UK
Have prior experience of teaching at key stage 1 level
Able to provide 2 references to support recent teaching experience
Able to provide full DBS clearance
