Year 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Bordesley Green, Birmingham B9
Day Rate: £(Apply online only)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: 01/09/2025
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
Join a welcoming primary school as a Year 2 Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, supporting a friendly class and helping to shape young minds during a key stage in their development. Your Role:
Provide in-class support to the Year 2 teacher and pupils
Lead small group activities in reading, writing, and maths
Assist with phonics and guided reading sessions
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
Help prepare learning materials and displays
Support with pupil assessments and tracking progressWhat We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with KS1 children (Year 2 preferred)
