Year 3 Class Teacher - Bournemouth, Dorset
Are you ready to lead a KS2 classroom with energy, creativity?
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a full-time Year 3 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced mainstream primary school located in Bournemouth. This opportunity is ideal for both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners looking to make a meaningful impact in Key Stage 2. The role begins in September 2025, with interviews set to take place over the coming weeks. A school tour will be offered to shortlisted candidates before a formal interview.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for a Year 3 class.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of learning and behaviour.
Use formative and summative assessments to track pupil progress and inform teaching.
Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with SEND or EAL.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support whole-child development.
Contribute to the wider school community through collaboration, planning, and enrichment activities.
Job Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3 (placements accepted for ECTs).
A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via GSL).
